Purchasing Tickets

Reserve your spot on the ferry in advance to assure you don’t miss one of San Francisco's most popular attractions. Tickets are available for purchase online and by calling (415) 981-ROCK (7625). You can also buy tickets in person at the Hornblower Alcatraz Landing ticket office at Pier 33 (advanced reservations strongly recommended).

Dress Appropriately

Due to the unpredictable weather on Alcatraz, it is recommended to bring along a sweater, jacket or rain gear. Alcatraz touring requires walking long distances, so wear your comfiest shoes.
