ZooFest 2014
Buy your tickets for a sparkling night of drinks, dinner and dancing under the stars at the San Francisco Zoo’s ZooFest. Taking place on Friday, April 25 starting at 6PM, this exciting night features the theme “A Night on Enchanted Hill” – honoring the place where the zoo began, Enchanted Hill at Hearst Castle. Hosted by the San Francisco Zoological Society, ZooFest celebrates the longtime partnership of the Hearst Family and the San Francisco Zoo. Hearst Castle at San Simeon was once the site of the world’s largest zoo, and today the San Francisco Zoo is home to more than 700 animals, along with numerous conservation projects. Dinner tickets start at $500 for this benefit event, and include valet parking. The ZooFest 2014 schedule includes:
6:00PM - Cocktails and Silent Auction
7:00PM - Dinner
8:00PM - Live Auction
8:30PM - Dancing
Be sure to wear Western attire for this upscale event, which both funds and celebrates new zoo programs. This year the zoo is toasting the birth of a western lowland gorilla, along with new nature and science lessons for local elementary school classrooms. Capacity is limited to 300 people, and many other ticket packages are available - please check the zoo website for details.
