Planner Carlos Muela knows his stuff, though, and has curated a fine, well, whatever you want to call it—park, restaurant, court, etc.—in one of San Francisco’s hippest hoods. Amazingly, each one of your visits to the SOMA StrEat Food Park could be totally different. Different food trucks from all over the region rotate spots over the course of a week ensuring at least a little something different each time. Waffles, banh mi, Dutch frites, burritos, corn dogs, you name it: if you can make it in a truck, it will likely show up. In addition, there is also an airy beer garden, bike parking, free WiFi, and a projection screen for movies. The latter is especially neat, as the park closes late—10pm—every day. You can stick around for dinner and a movie, if weather permits. Don’t miss out on one of the city’s most unique attractions.
