Connecting the East and West communities of the Bay Area, San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is an iconic structure and a favorite way to travel between San Francisco and Oakland. Spanning San Francisco Bay, the bridge is celebrating its 75th Anniversary and is currently undergoing a major retrofit. The new Bay Bridge will be open in both directions in 2013.
