Ice Skating on the Embarcadero
The holidays are here and one of the best ways to kick off
the season is a day of family friendly ice skating on the Embarcadero in San
Francisco. The Embarcadero Ice Rink at the Justin Herman Plaza is open now
through January 6, 2013 and is a memorable way to celebrate the season, spend
time with family and friends and enjoy the sights and sounds of the City. After
skating, the Embarcadero Center is the place to go for fun things to do, great
holiday shopping, delicious dining, and free parking, all in one place. Located
at the Justin Herman Plaza, adjacent to the Embarcadero Center, the ice skating
rink is open Sunday through Thursday from 10am-10pm, and on Friday and Saturday
from 10am-11:30pm. Skating sessions last for 90 minutes and start every other
even hour. Ice skating at the Justin Herman Plaza Embarcadero ice skating rink
is $6-$10 per person, depending on age and time of visit. Skate rentals are an
additional $3.50 per person. Please note that the rink may be closed at certain
days or times due to inclement weather or private party bookings.
