Bay Area Brew Festival 2014The Bay Area Brew Festival is happening on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Fort Mason in San Francisco, just around the bend from the Golden Gate Bridge and a quick cab from the Hotel Griffon. This is the third year in a row for the event and it gets more and more popular each time. You can expect to find over 60 breweries serving up nearly 200 different types of beers. In addition, there will be a dozen of the area’s top food trucks delivering delectable menu items. And if that’s not enough, a DJ will be filling the air (and your ears) with great tunes, creating the most festive of atmospheres.
The cost to attend the Bay Area Brew Festival is $50 for a VIP ticket and $40 for general admission. The only difference is that VIP ticket holders get in an hour earlier (1:00 p.m. instead of 2:00 p.m.). Either way you go, you’ll enjoy unlimited beer. And speaking of beer, some of the breweries who will be making you very happy that day include Goose Island, St. Florian, Voo Doo, Sam Adams, Sonoma Springs, Hoppy, Crabbies, Speakeasy, Pacific Brew Labs, Sierra Nevada, 21st Amendment, Third Street Ales, and Pine Street.
